MEET THE STAFF
Pastor Sammy Kay
Pastor Sammy Kay is the founder of Truth-Missionary Baptist Church and has been privileged to Pastor Truth-Missionary for almost 53 years. The church has faithfully proclaimed the message of truth from the pulpit and through other ministries of the church in an effort to reach the lost with the Gospel.
Since 1968, thousands of lives have been touched by the ministry of Truth-Missionary Baptist Church through missions work at home and abroad. From Sunday school to Friday night teen meetings, at summer events and revival meetings, many have come to know the Savior. Truth-Missionary Baptist Church has experienced building additions and relocation five times due to ministry growth, and the current campus is located at 200 Saluda Dam Rd. Greenville, South Carolina.
Pastor Sammy Kay is dedicated to faithfully teaching and preaching the Word of God each week. He teaches a weekly Sunday school Bible class on Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM in the main auditorium and he's still preaching the Word of God with power and passion every Sunday at 11:00 AM and 6:30 PM, as well as on Wednesdays at 7:30 PM. Rev. Sammy Kay Jr.
Sammy Kay, Jr. has been on the full-time staff at Truth-Missionary Baptist Church for over 30 years. The youngest of Pastor Kay's four children, Rev. Sammy Kay, Jr. has served in many capacities over the years. He is the Minister of Music where he leads the choir on Sundays and Wednesdays during church services, he teaches the Word of God in the Young Adult Sunday School class every Sunday at 10:00 AM, and he is the Youth Pastor for the Truth for Youth which meets on Fridays 6:30 - 10:30 PM (as scheduled). He also directs the Golden Glories: Senior Citizens ministry and serves in many other areas of ministry.
Reilly Kay
Reilly Kay is the recent addition to the staff here at Truth-Missionary. She is the daughter of our Assistant Pastor and is the Media Director for the Church and also works as an assistant in the Truth for Youth program. She graduated Tabernacle Christian School in 2021 and is currently enrolled in Greenville Technical College in the Sonogram program. Her life verse is Philippians 4:13.
