For Your First Visit

Visiting any church for the first time can make you feel nervous at first, sometimes even uncomfortable; but we want to make your first visit to Truth-Missionary Baptist Church memorable!  Your first visit to Truth-Missionary Baptist Church will be a great experience.  You will receive a warm and friendly welcome as you enter the doors, hear uplifting music from the choir, and listen as God's Word is preached with passion.  We want you to be welcome to our home and feel free to come back anytime; and Lord willing, become a part of our church family!

What we believe and what we stand for

We are an independent, fundamental, Bible-believing Baptist church that stands for the Book, the Blood, and the Blessed Hope!

We preach the WORD OF GOD without compromise.  We only use the KING JAMES VERSION of the Bible here at Truth-Missionary Baptist Church.

Each ministry at Truth-Missionary is centered around growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, and doing so through His Word.

What's here for my children?

There is something here for every child!  Beginning with the Nursery and going all the way to the College age.  We have a wonderful children's program on Wednesday evenings that begins at 7 PM.  We use the Master Clubs program and we love it!  Children from the preschool age to sixth grade are welcome. 

One of the most exciting ministries in our church is the Truth for Youth.  Our youth group plays a major role in our church family.  This group is set aside for those who are 11 yrs. old to 25 yrs. old (or married).  We have groups for both the Jr. High and Sr. High age-levels.  The Truth for Youth meets on Friday evenings from 6:30 - 10:30 pm in the Gymnasium (as scheduled).  Also, the Truth for Youth schedules various activities and trips throughout the year.  We have exciting and life-changing Youth Camps every summer and winter.  For more information about the Truth for Youth click here.

Adult Ministries

The Young Singles Department and the Young Married / Divorcee Department often schedule activities together because we are all so closely knit together. We enjoy fellowshipping with each other no matter what the age difference.  That's one of the greatest qualities about our church family.  But, we do set aside various activities and ministries for the ADULTS and SINGLES.  One of the most important ministries for the ADULTS and SINGLES in our church is the Sunday School.  The Sunday school class is set up, not only to be a place where you can meet other adults and singles that you can fellowship with, but for you to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Growing in grace is the most important thing in your life -- meeting others your age is secondary.  But it is a thrill to join in together and grow in the LORD.  The Young Married/Divorcee Sunday school class plans various activities throughout the year, including cookouts, retreats, dinners, and more....

Many adults like to participate in our athletics here at Truth-Missionary Baptist Church.  God has blessed us with some of the most beautiful facilities around and our softball and basketball teams enjoy getting together to exercise and engage in competitive play.  We have teams for both men and women every year.

Senior Citizen Ministry

We have one of the most beloved groups of seniors around.  The Golden Glories holds its own.  They are always up to doing something exciting.  This group enjoys time of fellowship and getting on the bus for another trip down the road. The Golden Glories often schedules meetings where they can go eat at the fish house, take a trip to Tennessee, Georgia, or Charleston, and much more....

Men's Activities

One of the newest ministries that we've added is our Men's Prayer Breakfast.  We are scheduling about 4 a year right now. This has proved to be one of the greatest times of fellowship for the men of our church.  We meet at a restaurant for a time of eating and fellowship, and then we take prayer requests and hear a couple testimonies. We all gather together and go to the Lord in prayer, praying for our church, those on the prayer list, and revival!  God has used this meeting to allow all of us to get to know each other better and have a good time in the LORD!  If you've never been to one of our prayer breakfasts, you don't know what you're missing!

The Ladies' Prayer Circle

The Ladies' Prayer Circle is one of the longest running ministries/activities at Truth-Missionary Baptist Church.  The Ladies meet on the first Tuesday of every month for a time of fellowship, a time of prayer, devotions, games and activities.  This group also schedules various trips throughout the year.

Vacation Bible School

Jr. Church

The Master Clubs program begins and ends with the school year, but during the Summer months we have an great time with the children at Jr. Church.  The children meet at the same time on Wednesday as the regular service, 7:30 - 8:30 p.m., and they enjoy singing and hearing God's Word.  They also participate in various activities and work on memorizing Scripture.  It's a great place to spend the summer with the Savior! 

Soulwinning & Visitation

Thursdays 6 p.m.

We believe in reaching the lost with the gospel of Christ, so we set aside a time every week to go out into the world and carry the message of truth to those who need to hear it.
