What can I expect from my first visit?

Truth-Missionary Baptist Church is located on Saluda Dam Road, right off of White Horse Road. Once you pass the Berea Department of Motor Vehicles, you will immediately see the church just ahead on the right.

In attending one of the services at Truth-Missionary Baptist Church, you will hear spirit-filled and uplifting music from the choir and special singers. You will also hear a biblical message from the Word of God, preached by Pastor Sammy Kay. You will have the opportunity to be a part of something wonderful when you attend a service at Truth-Missionary. Everyone is welcome and our church family will prove that to you. You can also take part in one of the many Bible classes offered in our Sunday school department (10:00 AM).

Where do I take my children?

Truth-Missionary Baptist Church offers Bible classes for ALL AGES. We have a wonderful nursery staff who are qualified to look after infants. There are classes for Preschool ages all the way through high school years. In each class, students will find a well-qualified Bible teacher and a friendly atmosphere for them to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

You don't have to worry with being confused about where to go when you arrive. We have plenty of greeters and ushers waiting to point you and your family in the right direction. We are here to serve you and to be a blessing to your family.

 What about my teens?

Our student ministries are split up into age and grade-level classes. Your teens will find the perfect class that will meet their specific need.

 How should I dress?

There is not a dress code at Truth-Missionary Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional Sunday dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Truth Missionary Baptist!

 Who is Pastor Sammy Kay?

Dr. Sammy Kay is the founder and pastor of Truth-Missionary Baptist Church. God saved him by His grace and called him to preach over 45 years ago. Not long after he was saved God put it on his heart to begin a Bible-preaching church that would reach the lost with the Gospel...and 42 years later, Truth-Missionary Baptist Church still stands as a testimony to what the grace of God has done and can do!

Am I expected to participate in the offering?

No. We don't invite you to Truth-Missionary Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
